My career as a therapist began more than 10 years ago and I've worked within the mental health field for over 15 years.

After graduating from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work I began providing outpatient services at Penn Hospital, working with children and adults in individual and family therapy. At Legacy Treatment Services, I spent several years treating adolescent trauma survivors with individual, group, and family therapy. Through that role, I have advanced training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide treatment to trauma survivors from children to adults. I have provided therapy to clients of all ages experiencing emotional and behavioral health issues. All of these experiences have rounded out my skills to address a wide variety of concerns from trauma to anxiety, depression, mood instability, behavioral concerns, self esteem and communication issues. Because I do not believe in a one model fixes everything approach, I integrate several techniques in my work depending on my clients' needs.

While I've worked with a range of ages I specialize in treating teens and young adults. These years are so full of promise and growth as young people figure out who they are and who they want to be. Now more than ever, our world is chaotic and scary, which is truly impacting how they are growing up and the way they see the world. In a time that can already be difficult with social, physical, and emotional changes our young people have even more stressors. As a therapist, I look forward to the growth I see as my clients tackle their challenges. Whether my clients are addressing traumatic experiences, anxiety, depression, self esteem, or relationship issues, I work with them to build their sense of identity and self-worth through compassion, empathy, and understanding.

My experience with online therapy (Telehealth) began as a Senior at Muhlenberg College studying Psychology. I joined TeenCentral.net, an online forum where adolescents could find guidance on issues ranging from arguments with parents to depression and every topic in between. I was first introduced to online therapy there, and learned how to create a safe and supportive space with my online clients. I continue to provide online therapy, which is so convenient when my clients have so many things demanding their time and attention!
