Frequently asked questions.

Are you currently accepting new clients?

Yes, I'm accepting new clients for in person and telehealth sessions. If you're looking for in person sessions, check out my office here

How much does therapy cost?

Individual sessions are $160 and last 50 minutes. I offer a limited number of reduced rate spots. If you are in need of a reduced rate due to financial constraints, please inquire if there is a reduced rate spot available when you contact me.

Do you accept insurance?

I'm an Out of Network Provider so I do not accept insurance. At your request, I provide Superbills (receipts for therapy that you submit to your insurance for reimbursement). Click here for helpful questions to ask your insurance provider about Superbills and reimbursement.

What type of therapy do you provide?

I use a combination of several types of therapy based on your individual needs and goals. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing. During our initial consultation, we can talk about what type of therapy would be most effective for your needs.

What clients do you work with?

I specialize in treating teens and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression and difficult life transitions (including school, work and relationship changes). I also work with trauma survivors and other mental health professionals.

What do sessions look like?

Therapy can be scary when you first begin, whether you've seen other therapists or it's a brand new experience. I recognize the time and financial commitment your making so I value and respect your time. *My typical session cycle may look different from other therapists.* Sessions are 50 minutes and we begin with a check in of how you're feeling. I prioritize your needs so I ask what you want us to focus on and what you need from the session. I have many clients who request that I guide sessions and I'm completely comfortable with that, so we'll refer to your treatment goals to guide our session. As a mindfulness based therapist, we may end sessions with practicing a mindfulness activity. We'll review main points from the session and identify behaviors to practice outside of session if that's appropriate for you.

Can you help me?

Therapy is meant to be a safe space where you're able to focus on your needs and achieve your goals. I provide a free 15 minute consultation before scheduling our first session in order to learn more about what you're looking for and how I can help. I welcome you to contact me and I hope to be part of your journey in healing and living. Contact Me
